OUR SERVICES

Dental care, planned with you

Each treatment starts with an exam and a plan you agree to. We explain the options, how many visits to expect and the cost, in writing, before we begin. Provided by our general dentists.

Smile design

Plan a smile makeover with your dentist: whitening, bonding, veneers or a mix. We take photos and scans, show you the options, and explain what each involves and what it can't do.

  • Porcelain veneers, made to match your teeth

  • Professional whitening; results vary from person to person

  • Composite bonding for chips and gaps

  • A digital smile design preview, a guide and not a promise

Preventive care

Regular exams, X-rays when your dentist decides you need them, and cleanings on a schedule your dentist and hygienist set with you after your exam.

  • Digital X-rays, when your dentist decides they are needed

  • Oral cancer screening at your exam

  • A cleaning and home-care plan

  • Fluoride and sealants when your dentist recommends them

Restorative care

Fillings, crowns, bridges and implant crowns repair or replace teeth. Your dentist plans each one from an exam and scans and explains the options and how many visits to expect. When a case calls for an oral surgeon or a periodontist, we refer you.

  • Ceramic crowns and bridges

  • Fillings and inlays

  • Implant crowns, with surgery by a referred oral surgeon or periodontist

  • Digital impressions to plan the fit

Clear aligners

Straighten your teeth with clear aligners planned by your general dentist. A scan shows the planned movement. How long it takes depends on your teeth and on wearing the aligners as directed, and we refer complex cases to an orthodontist.

  • Clear aligners for adults

  • A digital scan and a preview of the plan

  • Check-ins as your dentist plans them

  • Retainers after treatment

COMFORT

Comfort and sedation

What we use, who gives it and how we keep watch, so there are no surprises in the chair.

  • Local numbing

We numb the area before treatment starts. Tell us if you still feel it and we'll add more.

  • Nitrous oxide

For patients who want to feel more relaxed. You stay awake and can answer us at any time. We do not give deeper sedation here; if you need it, we refer you.

  • Who gives it

The dentist treating you gives the numbing and the nitrous oxide, with a trained team member in the room the whole time.

  • How we watch over you

Someone stays with you, checks how you are breathing and feeling, and we stop whenever you ask.

  • Before and after

We tell you when you book whether to eat beforehand and whether someone should drive you, and we say when you are ready to leave.

  • What we don't promise

We can't promise you won't feel anything. Tell us what worries you and we'll go over the options and their risks first.

The level of sedation a dentist may give depends on the permit the Dental Board of California has issued. Ask us which permit your dentist holds.

  • Swelling that spreads to your face, eye or neck, trouble breathing or swallowing, a serious blow to the head, or bleeding that won't stop needs emergency care now. Go to an emergency room or call 911. If a tooth is knocked out or broken, call our office right away.
